This page explains the fees, pre-registration, permanent registration instructions, and color choices, as well as providing the online form to complete your registration and pay with PayPal, to pay by check complete the Mail in -- Pygora Goat Registration Form.

Fees: You can pay for your PBA Registrations via PayPal now.  Costs to register a goat are as follows:

PRE-REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS -- GOATS FROM BIRTH TO NO-MORE-THAN 1 YEAR

  1. Fill out registration application below.

  2. Leave "in fleece color" line blank for now.

  3. Send a full side view color photo out of fleece. For random markings provide as many photos as needed to show markings.

  4. Include appropriate fees & mail to PBA. Once the preapplication is approved, you should receive your pre-Registration Certificate with a pending number in 4-6 weeks. This certificate expires when the goat turns 1 year of age. Follow the instructions for permanent registration.  A permanent registration may be applied for before the goat is one year if it is accompanied by a fleece sample of 2" or more.

PERMANENT REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS -- FOR GOATS AFTER THEY HAVE COME INTO FLEECE

If your goat HAS A PRE-REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE:

  1. Send a full in-fleece side view color photo. (See instructions in rules for Registering a Pygora goat)

  2. Send 2" square fleece sample. (See instructions in rules for Registering a Pygora goat)

  3. Fill in "in fleece color" line on Pre-Registration Certificate.

  4. Return Pre-Registration Certificate.

  5. Mail to PBA. No extra fees required.  Once the application is approved, you should receive your Registration Certificate in 4-6 weeks. 

If your goat HAS NOT BEEN PRE-REGISTERED:

  1. Fill out application for registration form.

  2. Follow steps 1 and 2 above. Also include one full side view color photo out-of-fleece. For random markings provide as many photos as needed to show markings.

  3. Include appropriate fees.

  4. Mail to PBA.  Once the application is approved, you should receive your Registration Certificate in 4-6 weeks.

THE KIDS CANNOT BE REGISTERED! ***
